Everything that the first game has developed is thrown away within the first 30 minutes or so. We were given a character that feels very unlikable from the beginning, and every "emotional moment" she goes through is hell to have to watch. Are we supposed to actually CARE about this new person out of the blue??? By the time her actions begin to seem justified, it's too late, I wanted nothing more than to move on from her story during this. Overall, the story and development is HORRIBLE. Very poor choice for the plot, I don't know what the developers were smoking. Although, as far as quality with the visuals and voice acting, I have no complaints. Everything fit together very well with an incredibly immersive environment throughout, if only they had actually thought through the story as they did with visuals.
