So ill be honest and not throw a fit and purposely hate on a video game cuz my favorite character dies like some others have been doing but ill keep this review short......I still loved the game despite the characters I love being killed. This isn't the first game to do this and I mean the first game killed off sarah in the first 5 minutes, tess, sam, riley, and Henry so I wasnt too surprised tbh. The AI although not perfect was much better than the first game. I really liked the new weapons and the upgrade system. Im happy with all the heartwarming flashbacks and all the little references to the first game like for one we got to play another video game inside of a game just like in the DLC with riley. I enjoyed the extras we got so of the land, characters, and infected. Although I got upset about how the story went i thought that we got a lot of character development with everyone in the game which was nice. The graphics are great and the new infected were really cool and it was awesome to have those dogs. I felt bad for killing them but i mean in real life if they were trying to kill me id fight back.. Those stalkers really freaked me out. I didn't care for the way we had to fight ellie but it was a neat perspective. Also I think if they made abbys arms like 20% smaller and maybe gave her more of a chest if you will (not that she needs it) those trans phobic people wouldn't have attacked her character. I get abbys story and why she did it but I think the ending could've been better. Also I'd like to mention that lev is trans and ellie has always been gay. We knew that since the first games DLC. This game kept me on my toes for the story even though i didn't like it all it was indepth and complex and kept changing and i liked that.. Im excited for the update it has a second ending and for the stand alone factions game to come out. I recommend watching TLOUStratagist for really good quality analysis of this game. He is a YouTuber who's channel is dedicated to all things tlou and he really knows what he is talking about
