I'm from the Generation that grew up with social media, but still could see the very beginning of it. Never could I imagine now reading the book of the Global PR Revolution, how incredibly rapid this change was. The traditional PR is nothing more than a myth and ten years ago it was all. Now a teenager dancer can influence more audience than a TV show journalist. The new transparency area has started. As Maxim Behar says in his first chapter of the Global PR Revolution: " It requires an understanding that there is no difference between PR and Social Media anymore" - "it has become one and the same thing". He gives another perspective of what the PR is, how it has changed, gives real life examples from the time he was a ICCO President, and not only, showing us how important it is to recognise the change happening, adapt to the needs of the new markets, to say the truth, as the social media now is all about it, transparency, freedom of speech, -"indeed a Global PR Revolution." I would like to recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about the future perspectives and trends in the Public Relations, to all Marketing and PR professionals, to all working or studying in this field. It short, for me this book is a guide, that gives a clear overview of the picture and where PR is headed, sharing advises from more than 100 PR professionals: there is definitely a lot to learn from it. Wish you to enjoy it fully!
