Personally do not like, regret buying, and would not recommend. The game has more than half the Pokémon cut, from the game dubbed “dexit” by the community and many more moves cut as well. It has a wide expansive “wild area” multiplayer zone that makes up about a 8th of the map, if open world multiplayer is your thing. Then maybe this is the game for you. Personally not a huge fan of the open world feature because they did not go all in. They made a small portion of the in game map appear large and made it multiplayer rather than make the whole entire playable area multiplayer. Fan favorite Pokémon like feraligatr, Typhlosion, Swampert, Dragonite, blaziken, Garchomp, Slowbro, Salamance, and Metagross, cannot be played and are not even coded into the game. Only about 10 Pokémon can be transferred in that are not available in game and you cannot transfer your Pokémon until 2020 at a unspecified time. Moves that have been around forever such as Spike canon, feint attack, doubleslap, and barrier had been removed. Game freak is ignoring what sells their products, it’s not new innovative features, it’s nostalgia. The new innovative features do not hurt, but you have to balance it with nostalgia.
