This was proclaimed to be more of a Rock album than their usual Folk Style. The reason PP&M tried their hand at Rock & Roll was most likely due to a Folk style album done by The Beatles 3 years earlier entitled "Rubber Soul". Rubber Soul itself most likely inspired by Bob Dylan and the 1st PP&M album. You can clearly hear a similarity between the songs: "If I had a hammer" by PP&M and "I'm looking through you" by The Beatles.
Late Again would yield the hit "Too much of nothing", but it also contains an overlooked song "Reason to believe", which was covered by the Carpenters with little success, but turned into a hit when performed by Rod Stewart.
This album is worth it to any Peter, Paul and Mary fan, collector or connoisseur.
I highly recommend it for anyone with a great love for their music.
