This feels like they took all of the editor's cuts off the floor (B-roll) of the actual movie and that is what they released by accident. There is not one scene to show Napoleon's tactical thinking, not one to show WHY he loves Josephine (even though most of the the movie is about that), and every battle, or historic moment is either glossed over or skipped entirely.

Dear God this is dreadful! It's like The Happening level of bad. The director's pitch must have been "good actors showing how badly they can act for 1 hour and 30 minutes". Tommy Wiseau's The Room has better acting. Much like The Room It's so bad it becomes hilarious the longer you watch it. By the end I just had tears of laughter streaming down my face. For the fact I made it to the end and had a really good laugh I have to give it 3....but it's a 1 star movie if you cant laugh at how bad it is.

I hope DC learns from this that they do their best work when they keep it gritty, dark and tragic. That has always been where they do their best stuff. And this is as gritty, dark and tragic as I've seen from them. Compelling, fascinating, and hard to take your eyes off of it
