Over-preased. It is a westernized show that focuses on settings rather than delivery. Just like how mainstream Americans enjoy Star Wars way more than Violet Evergarden for its grand settings rather than intricate delivery.

Are those my eggs? Yeah, I dropped them. 5 star. Jk, I disagree with most of the general guidance in this movie, for that it is often received in a way that is supposed to be of guidance. The entertainment value is great and the story is engaging. So well done.

A complex story told in a complex way, but not particularly successfully. Nevertheless, comparing it to regular superhero movies is like comparing bossa nova to mass production pop. Both enticing but in different ways.

I have watched more than 300 Japanese animes over the span of over 7 years. This is currently within the top 3. It is not the most philosophical, or the most musical, or the one with the highest drawing quality. But it is extraordinary in every aspect that I can evaluate.
