For the 1st time I'm writing a movie review and specially few reasons made me do so.. 1st of all, undoubtedly it's a genuine effort from Vidyut Jamwal and his performance was really good in this movie if u observe every minute details like how an ordinary man would behave, in such tensed situations, which is very much evident in his expressions and the fear in his eyes and shaking hands. The thing I liked the most is they tried to make it look as real as possible, without any unnecessary high flying action moves and stunts which are so common in action movies. So respect for the director who commendably brought out this good work from the actor. It is a pretty ordinary story which almost all of us have already witnessed in many other movies and there's almost nothing that would surprise u(except if it is Vidyut's genuine effort).. but still there's something enchanting about this movie(don't know if it is only with me.. maybe the simplicity and effort to make it look as realistic as possible enchanted me) which would make u like this ordinary man's struggle to get back his wife. 2ndly, I am not a self proclaimed acting expert(which is very much common on social media nowadays). So I would suggest don't watch a movie only for the sake of pointing out its flaws..be a little appreciative towards the hardwork and effort as well. And finally, there are many people who are unnecessarily bashing the movie which shows nothing but their hypocrisy.. they won't appreciate the effort of such talented artists but only do it when it's too late(if u remember the case of SSR). Lastly, I would say, it was a very good effort, Vidyut's best performance of his film career so far. All the supporting cast also did a good job specially Annu Kapoor. So, overall it was a good watch for me, unlike many similar stories where the hero would possess some superhuman abilities to break through all kinds of barriers, destroy the villain and gain back his heroine. This movie is atleast a better/quite realistic version of the narrative and even anyone if it's a software engineer or any ordinary man would do(capable of doing) exactly what is shown in this movie to save/get back his loved ones. So, without any hesitation, give it a watch🙂
