I absolutely love this game. Like I cant stop playing and have spent full nights wide awake in front of the tv playing. I grew up loving star wars and the video game force unleashed I and II. This game is very different from force unleashed but in good was not bad. The story is captivating and provides a classic flashback story with plenty of real time tension and plot. The villains are believable and have their own story arches. Not to mention the quality and visuals of this game are insane!!! Two things I saw people have issue with in this game are platforming and casual play. There is platforming in this game and serves as a puzzle solving effect as well. I was able to play without using Google once to find the correct path. The world is vast and has a heavy focus on exploration and finding secrets however you dont have to explore massively to enjoy the game and the platforming in my opinion does not remove you from the game and in fact adds to the realistic feel of a truly good star wars game. So casual play, the game has several game difficulties including a "story mode" difficult that can be ideal for a super casual player and someone that just wants a casual experience with great story and visuals. This is a harder game in my opinion. I played on the second hardest difficulty "jedi master" and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and experiences. If you've seen memes or stories about dark souls and games molded after dark souls, this is a similar experience. Not nearly as difficult but very challenging with boss fights that can take 30minutes to master on harder difficulties. This is very much one of my favorite games and the challenges and strategic combat mixed with the great feeling of finally beating a boss and continuing a storyline is amazing. There is always something to fight if you want to slash around and enemies that are not with are still very enjoyable enemies. 10/10 hope there is a sequel or more of these types of star wars games to come.
