Liu Berus

The nostalgic 1990s were the point of Home Alone -series. Kevin's family was rich and people just loved the idea that Kevin could do anything he wanted. But until the Home Alone 4, everything was still. Home Alone 4 is disaster and I don't recommend anyone to watch it - except if wanted to ruin the nostalgic image of those movies. At first - the movie time line does not make sense. Kevin is suddenly getting years younger from previous movies (Christmases)? What? The father's new girlfriend, Nathalie - just no. No. Please. We didn't need her or Marv's girlfriend (who is VERY annoying, and I hate, when character pretend to be stupid in non-comedic/non-fun way: poor acting). The movie was filmed somewhere in warm place (was it South Africa?) and it looks like that. It's not Chicago. The snow and winter look was so important part. That movie does not feel even a Christmas movie. I'm broken. Nathalie's house is just no-no. Kevin does all his pranks by himself, but that voice remote control thingy? No. The boy pretending Kevin wasn't behaving like Kevin. I guess director and screenwriter haven't seen the first two parts.. And I didn't like the cliche part "Kate" telling "Kevin" about the divorce. I know we can't get the actors from previous movies, because they are getting older. This movie should never been done.
