I personally do not hate this movie. While it holds a lot of cringey moments and the movie itself doesnt do anything special, it's not that bad. I think the gore was a bit underrated, and the story was pretty straightforward., it still holds up as a movie you can just turn your brain off too and waste an hour and a half of your life. The main reason I am giving it such a low rating is that I am seriously disappointed in the soundtrack. If they extended one of the fight scenes by 30 seconds and threw in one of the original metal songs from any of the doom games or atleast threw one in the end credits I would have bumped the movie to three stars. Besides that and the other obvious reasons, I'd say the movie isn't great, but if you have Netflix it doesnt exactly hurt to watch.
