I played AC:Odessy and I thought the game was pretty fun. It's combat was nice. I like how reworked the combat a bit but must say that they give you a parry button but you really never end up using it. Well from my own past experience anyway. The game location is amazing. I really like the look of Greece. Ubisoft really knows how to make a great looking game. I think they did the skill tree well too. But the game definitely has flaws. The map is huge, which can actually be a bad thing. Say you wanna do a mission that's all the way across the map. It takes a long time to get there on a boat and when you fast travel it takes like 3 minutes and throws off that streamline feel it gives you. The story doesn't have much if any connection to the Assassin's( btw I got used to that). The story also wasn't that great. I was always on and off the story. But worst of all were the enemies. They had too much health and felt like a chore to finish of them off. It gets even worst when they call a mercenary that's the same level as you but has the difficulty of an enemy that's 3 levels ahead of you. I hate when they have poison because it drains your health and overall screws you over. But I think that's it about the game. If you're thinking about the getting a game just know that you're not gonna be playing it because of it's story but for it's gameplay and world not it's story
