It’s difficult to put into words, but after leaving I thought long and hard about what I experienced while watching Us. There was so much symbolism that I will need to see it again to get it all. I still don’t fully understand the existence of the red tethered people. I mean, they are mirror images of their human counterparts but how they came into being I didn’t understand.
