My honest review about Drishyam 2 I am a Mohanlal fan too. But was really disappointed after watching Drishyam 2. Not with his acting but with the story. I saw all reviews from my friends and expected a huge suspense flick. The first half was not at all gripping. Was really slow. The main issue is that we know where the body was hidden and police found this at the end of the movie. It should have been shown in the first half itself. And when they find this out the shocking BGM was of no use as that BGM had no impact on the viewer as we know this truth for the past 6 years. While in drishyam everything was happening so quickly with lots of twists. We predict something's gonna happen, it would happen with a wonderful twist... Moreover, as I was expecting Georgekutty to be smart so everything he was doing was predictable... Even the people, remembering 6 years past events, was rubbish... That questioning sequel was also useless... Even the first half was repeating drishyam 1 at many sequences. Even the spies in the story were also predictable. Finally, the conversation content of Esther and that boy was not revealed and even the boy being a spy wasn't revealed to the family... In the whole film, I only saw one twist, the novel, and DNA. Everything else was lacking logic. Even the climax lacks logic as anyone can do a crime and escape using that same idea used in this movie?! Adding to it, Mohanlal's performance was incredible... ❤️❤️Even Esther, Murali Gopy, and Siddique gave their best. ❤️Other's I felt very unprofessional. The casting if was better this could have been better. Serial-like performance, was what I felt from others... Overall this film was just watchable... Not at all an extraordinary suspence thriller like part 1 or any other thriller movie...
