I have never made a comment on a show before but I have to say something about Mike Holmes. His snide comments about previous contractors' work are like a hammer beating down on us - the audience. He enjoys being right way too much. He is waaay too negative, way, way too full of himself. This comes thru on other shows that he guests in, also, when he disagrees with someone just on design (no right or wrong there). It is wearing, makes one want to watch something much more uplifting. To be clear, this comment is only about his attitude. The very same words spoken in a different tone would be fine.
