The pacing is inconsistent and rushed. I’m convinced that Old was nothing more than a cheap cash grab. The "big twist" that the story had been rushing towards was hardly a twist and not big. The movie does not let any of its viewers figure out anything for themselves, it straight up just tells you. The plot hardly makes any sense. Two 6 year olds rape each other, one ends up pregnant and the baby dies. All in the span of no more than 8 minutes. The "deeper meaning" the movie was going for was not all that deep and full of uneducated bias. All in all the entire experience was complete teeth-grinding torture and if I hadn’t hated it so much I might’ve suspected myself masochistic for ever subjecting myself to something so horrible.
