If you invest yourself in the lore, watch the TV series, read the comics, and study the little things. I feel you might be disappointed. But as a stand alone film, not watching any others films or experiencing "Star Wars" for the first time, it's an okay movie. Alot of pointless sub-plots and empty suspense. Otherwise very impressive visually. I would say alot of these reviews are pretty accurate, but I find it difficult to believe this movie was a 1 star. It is a big budget movie with a story that moves forward, big battles and some really jaw dropping moments. If you're someone who lives and breaths Star Wars, I can understand the disappointment. Someone who has watched all the movies and managed to dodge all the spoilers, I imagine would like it. If you're new to the Star Wars movies, it's interesting and fun. But, I'm no critic. The world keeps on turning. And love it or hate it, we'll all be back next year to see the next one.
