This is by far one of the greatest Mortal Kombats NetherRealm studios has produced. I've been playing Mortal Kombat since the first one on SNES and loved every single one. The fighting mechanics, customization, story, it's all superb. I bought mine for the Switch. Yes, the graphics are not as good as the PS4 and Xbone but I think it looks pretty close. It's amazing how the Switch can pull this off. However, it has one HUGE flaw: not being able to gain currency or go to the Krypt offline. I know the grind for currencies will be reduced with a patch that'a coming soon, and I don't mind grinding, I am a avid RPG fan after all. But not being able to grind while I'm out and about is a bummer. I bought it on the Switch just so I could grind for currency and fight on the go. I hope they fix this soon, they addressed the difficulty and currency issue within a day, so I have faith in Ed Boon and the team. I don't expect the Living Towers to be offline, but at least make it so we can grind for XP and currency offline in Klassic Towers, Story Mode, and Tutorial like in the PS2 era Mortal Kombats. That was one of my favorite parts of that era. Mortal Kombat 11 is such a solid fighting game that grinding would be fun for anyone, especially when you can take the Switch anywhere you want.
