Wow!
Well I thought this was just going to be a comedy filled musical for 90 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised! Starts out very funny and how I thought it would go on. But looking into the lockdown era and the mentality of it all, it ended up making me feel all sorts of feelings while still having fun. Covering so many topics and issues I have thought about myself when it comes to social media, the pandemic and peoples lives displayed across platforms. This turns from just a funny film some guy filmed in his apartment to a layered masterpiece in fun, tragedy and conflicted feelings that show that comedy doesn't have to just make you laugh but can make you think and can pull on your own heartstrings and show you what you know and feel in a new but also personal way. I felt happy and emotional all at the same time watching this. To think that he wrote, starred in, directed the whole show while bringing me into so many different emotional difficulties under the prefix of comedy and emotional and egotistical instablily shows how great a writer he is. I didn't know who he was before watching this and am mesmerised by the talent. Thank you!
