Unbroken
This film is an inspirational tribute to the American fliers who made such a massive contribution to the victory of the Allied powers in World War II. I have always been more than aware of the heroism of the American bomber crews who carried out the hazardous daylight bombing raids on Hitler's infamous Reich between 1942 and 1945. But it wasn't until I watched' Unbroken' that I became aware of the equally courageous USAF air crews in the Pacific theatre of World War II. In both cases, the war was directed at eliminating the tyrannical global aggression of Germany and Japan.
