I found the show funny and fresh. I wish it didn't have canned laughter but Hollywood wants to make sure we know when to laugh in sitcoms.
Most of the shows like this the kids are rude, bratty and the parents don't seem to care. The older daughter comes across pushy at times but that's about it. The cast seems to work well overall and so far the show has steered clear of politics.
