Nice closure for Data's character. Elnor is great, as is Rafi and Dahj/Soji. I've been watching Trek since 1992, and I've watched it all since, this fits in well, and for a first season it is much better than Discovery S1 and probably better than most season 1 Trek shows, which can be lumpy. Great to see the Romulan's back, although i'd prefer a Romulus (Star System and the species) that exists free of the JJ verse, but we have to live with that and that's how it will be. May s2 be even better.

It is good, but it does recycle material from Star Trek: TNG and to a lesser extent Star Trek: DS9 and VOY. If you like Star Trek you will like it, you'll just go meh sometimes.
