Very engaging cast, story, pacing. Takes you on a "cook's tour' of complex and highly relatable personal striving for understanding relationships and one's place in life. Loved the development of the characters. Gained some understanding of the compelling dynamics and drive of life in the kitchen.

Format takes a bit of getting used to but by the end of the second episode I really liked it. Refreshing and real.

The fabulous fight scenes would be enough but the excellent cast and characters, world-weary and so badass, along with a terrific soundtrack and cinematography put it over the top. Loved it. On my list to watch again soon. Can't wait for Old Guard 2.
