This reboot feels too far removed from the original franchise and took itself too seriously. From the action to the humor, it just doesn't feel like a Puppet Master movie.
It leaned far too much into the nazi aspect, the puppets all lacked personality, and everything felt completely mechanical + forced. There was just no magic in this movie (metaphorically and literally).
As a fan of the franchise, this movie disappointed me quite a bit.
