Voting as an audience member versus allowing the world/America vote are two way different things. The audience will vote based on how much energy they felt at the show, while the tv audience around the world will vote on true talent and effects of their performances. I felt the final 10 were NOT truly reflective of the best talents from the world. I had a tough time watching the finals because 1, I didn't feel they were the top 10... and 2, they all felt stagnant... same old, seen it/done that, nothing fresh. Whatever.. this show has gone through it's shelf life and perhaps it's time for the entire franchise to go through a reboot..

I’m still not understanding where the high ratings are coming from. The plot/premise of the overall K-drama is fairly predictable and the lack of twists, surprises and the fireworks a GREAT K-drama (or any drama series) brings to the audience are all lacking. I thought perhaps the second season would be different than the first (I was aware that the first season was cut short due to the Pandemic), but no, nothing. Same. In fact, worse because we knew how average the first season was already.. and the second season is the same, drab of the first season. I typically turn off about 15 minutes into the episodes as it’s the same thing from the previous episode… some annoying side characters, very annoying patients (or their parents), etc. I think the key characters are charming and I really love the fab five as the core group, but this drama ends there and falls flat. Just nice, background noise while you work on something else, or web browse. If you really want to know what I’m talking about… compare this to “Vincenzo” or “Racket Boys”.

It’s a measure of how a drama operates that not once do we feel particular sympathy for any of the characters in this series. It puts good actors to the test. They have to work very hard to look engaged, excited, confused, hurt and sad.. but to the viewers, they all look the same. Overused themes (copied from many movies), repeated use of predictable cliches, confusing plot twists along with excruciating effort to develop the characters, it was a marathon of boredom, frustration, and frankly, recurring sessions of total mind cleanse. Please do not try to create a K-drama series based on popular Sci-fi themes. Really, really bad…. One of the worst I have seen. I want my 16 hours of life back. The saddest thing is, it started awesome.. with the first 2 to 3 episodes.
