A multi-layered visual feast with stellar performances from Jeet, Prosenjit, Saswata, Akansha Singh, Ritwik and Chitrangada Singh.
Jeet stole the show with his plane Jane gaze and subtle tones. Saswata, as usual with his stereo bengali accented dictum made sure that this becomes an engrossing roller coaster.
Chitrangada was progressive as much against her regular image but won the heart finally. Especially, when her comatose boyfriend died and her subsequent transformation was simply brilliant.
Aratrika Singh is a revelation as well as Ritwik, a suave and nurtured act. Must not give it a miss. It's a fiction with shades of truth panning from the 80s City of Joy to the present City of Bhoy (fear). Subhasish as the CM gave us a nuanced performance and Ali, though loud at times, blended well here. Rather, gave a colour to this piece.
