First - I LOVE the world of mushers with their sled dogs. It's MY sport, it's international and guaranteed authentic because a musher MUST care for her or his dogs sincerely and professionally with utter respect if not love. And, I have long treasured the unsung hero story of Seppala and Togo. "The Cruelest Miles" biography by sisters Gay and Laney Salisbury is a riveting documentary history. All of that to say, the movie "Togo" is its epitome - film-making experts bringing to bear all of their best with good taste, refinement and heart. I use the words: Powerful. Profound. Pure. Poetic. Bravissimo's!
