I just finished the movie, and am puzzled by how slowly and how quickly this film moved along. I’m left wondering why I should care about the protagonists as there is little character development and the antagonists seemed so one dimensional, that I was not able to muster up enough negative emotion to really care about their fate. I was disappointed. There were so many unnecessary additions, like sharks in the water during the boat scene, that subtracted from the main story. For curiosity sale, watch it on Amazon, but only if you don’t have to pay for it. It’s really not worth it.

Such a shallow plot line! Some catchy songs but overall there was no depth to the stories. I kept rolling my eyes. The main point is that we’re all stars and the king was trying to protect people from…disappointment. But we never get into any depth of background for our protagonist or antagonist. The wishing star was cute and adorable but also seems completely out of place with the rest of the canvas of the movie. I think that less would have been more. There were almost too many secondary characters and rabbit trails. It seemed cluttered.

So creative! So intriguing!! This is why we like marvel! The story continue!!
