Will take 2 samples of rags to riches in South Indian movies:- Son of Sathyamurthy & the new Netflix release Miss India. While the male dominated movie shows the guy to me of great character & knowledge to turn people around in miss india I am being served a woman with 2 stands in like :- 1. I don't wanna marry, 2. I want a chai business. According to her a girl who agrees to go out with a guy in the first ask ain't even a lady. I recieved the slap but then in the name of knowledge I m given swot analysis monologue. She is a foreign mba why didn't I see more of her manufacturing end, what happens to her chai packets? She doesn't sell em any more? Wouldn't her business be more sustainable if she had a manufacturing unit to supply her brand in place instead of one store? She opens chainsssss but I see her in one location only... The men around her are toxic why? Coz she doesn't agree to marry em. And she is desirable why??? Coz she pretty & men want to marry her, what convolution was served to me???? Utterly disappointed.... Also it's 2020, why ain't the woman using the power of social media??? You can't be serving me a women empowerment tag by dumbing down the lead woman in it!! Also the clear change of persona shows the movie creative process was handled & stopped by one too many cooks, I being an entrepreneur couldn't relate to the main protagonist one bit! There is way more to entrepreneurship than a string of luck. People who find it good & inspiring need a movie rehab
