Overall this movie was pretty entertaining, however Brie Larson’s lead role as captain marvel was marginal at best. Her acting seems forced and when trying to give the funny punch lines they seem too scripted and lack genuine humor. This same acting carried over to Anvengers Endgame, zero depth. Larson’s role as Captain Marvel made this movie painful to watch. You could compare her acting to other B rated films like Sharknado or Flash Gordon, but even Flash Gordon shows more depth in his character. If you’re looking for something to entertain you, then this is a good start. As far as acting quality, the rest of the cast is very seasoned, but Brie Larson should never have been considered for a power roll such as Captain Marvel.
