I'm surprised this has such a high rating as I thought it was pretty dreadful and after 3 episodes I'm done with it. The plot is absolutely ludicrous - one far-fetched thing after another. The bad guy and his cronies are seemingly omniscient, though they often are in this type of thing. There's often very clunky dialogue to really emphasise the poor writing. The acting is ok and the action is done well, but there's not a lot else going for this. It might have got away with it as a silly action film, but as a series it doesn't work.

Not a terrible premise, but very poorly executed. Some pretty poor dialogue in places and acting is also inconsistent. The story doesn't make a great deal of sense. The back story of the killers feels like it was thrown together at the last minute. There's parts that just don't make sense. The protagonist and another character seem able to teleport between Munich and Stockholm. There seems to be whole sections of the film missing as things happen, particularly towards the end, that just don't make sense. Did I mention the plot doesn't make sense? I imagine everyone involved in this waste of time wishes they had not bothered - perhaps they realised this was a dud while filming, judging by the performances.

It's really not a bad film, but it seems like it is a bit of a wasted opportunity. Great performance from Scoot McNairy, and a little wooden from Arnie, but certainly not terrible. There is very little dialogue and I think that this is where there is wasted potential. You'll find yourself screaming out at the characters to say something! I also found the pacing far too slow. It didn't need explosions every other scene, but really this didn't have the dialogue to carry it through.

Probably the best sci-fi series of our time. Beautifully shot and acted. The plot is very complex and convoluted, but once you get your head around it, and after a good few "a-ha" epiphany moments, it's a work of genius. I have just started season 3, but I am willing to stick with 5 stars even if S3 is terrible (it's not so far), just because S1 and S2 are so good. Special shout out for Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris. Sublime acting.

An excellent, atmospheric, beautifully shot, nightmarish experience. The acting is excellent throughout from all the cast. This reminds me of some art films of the 70s - think Aguirre, Wrath of God meets Lord of the Flies, with machine guns. If you're hoping for a Hollywood-esque linear film then this isn't for you. If you want something more challenging and open-ended then watch this film. A great piece of cinema.
