Spoiler-y review, but TL;DR bad time sad time, skip it.
In general, this was a pretty bad movie. As an adaptation of Doom it was more than a little lack luster, though admittedly not so bad as the '05 trainwreck. As a movie in general it's largely boring even during action scenes, and those are the best things it has going for it. I've seen worse movies, but this still left me wishing i could have my 1h45m back.
For Doom fans, this movie largely only features zombies and Imps, and neither look very good (seriously, I thought the zombies looked goofy up until i saw the rubber suit monster imps). Besides that there'a a big demon goo monster at the end that I don't remember being in any of the games, and some CGI things that were maybe Possessed mixed with Imps or some such. Hard to say. That's it. Some iconic weapons were included for nostalgia's sake, but it's really not worth it - weakest BFG I've ever seen. And, no Doomguy, just a bunch of marines and civvies serving as "demon" fodder.
For non-fans, it's about a bunch of unlikeable characters making poor choices and walking willfully to their not-gory-enough-demise. Not all the acting was bad, some of the actors were passable, most were not. Expect thrill-less action scenes split up by boring, low-energy exposition dumps.
It's not a good movie, nor is it so bad it's good in a bad way, y'know? It was just sort of sad.
