I noticed some people misunderstand what a trilogy means or simply didn't see the other movies. If we go based on concepts the very first one (28 days later) was just shelling out a crazy zombie flick. The second one (28 weeks later) shows an evolution in the zombies (the dad [the first alpha] that intelligently seeks out his children despite being infected). This one (28 years later) builds on actual characters and the normality of the infections evolution. I like that it isn't just a mindless zombie movie. Can't wait for the other 2.

First off... 11/10 The gameplay is explosive and vibrant. Simple mechanics that evolves as you continue to play. The summonings are beautiful in display and intensity. Materia and weapon customization are fun and effective. You actually get to feel/see how the percentages in attributes affect combat. Man, the story, though focused on just the beginning of the game (in a way), is captivating with its humor, depth, and nostalgia. Playing the original, I looked at the Shinra as nothing more than a nuisance. In the remake they show you that Shrina really is a big bad guy. The story made you feel as though you were watching a movie. Cloud's development is more apparent and appreciated here as the rest of the crew grows or supports Cloud's as you move through the game. A worthy ending that will have you fawning for the 2nd installment. If I had to guess itll probably be a 2022 release.
