even before the #MeToo movement and #TimesUp, it was a poorly conceived film, and performances by everyone that have aged Horribly. I had the misfortune of seeing it, before the premiere was cancelled and im sure Charlie Day would pay to have every copy burned with how utterly unlikable he is in it. CK managed to make a film that took all the worst parts of Woody Allen and condensed them together like an amalgamated bar of soap slivers. While attempting to be a conversation on hypocrisy, as Louis's character is a man in a position of power engaging in an intimate relationship with a younger subordinate, his daughter (moretz) is the object of affection, by his character's idol, portrayed by John Malkovich. As CK attempts to deal with the realization his daughter may be having sex with an older man, he misses the point that he may have to face consequences for his own actions. its a B I G YIKES all around.
