So if anyone is thinking of buying/renting Biomutant let me save you the trouble. My quick rundown on it after beating the game is this. Someone played a lot of Fable on the XBOX when they were younger and thought "what if they were furries instead of people?" all in all not a bad idea so far. Then they come up with a world destroyed by humans where you need to decide if you're going to save it or finish destroying it yourself, then bail. They came up with a decent villain and history and power system for the character. Having completed all this they handed their notes to a reputable game developer and produced the game. This is where the problems come in, see the notes were written down on beer soaked napkins during a week long acid trip, and the reputable developer actually turned out to be the guys 6 year old cousin who got a Kano kids programming computer for Christmas and wanted to make something awesome. Long story short, there was the potential for it to be a great game but it fell way short from broken quests, to unbalanced items, to puzzles that even with max intellect you didn't have enough moves to complete, this game fell squarely on it's face. I could tell as I neared the end of the game that the programers were as tired of making the game as I was of playing it.
