Bigger, better & bolder than Top Gear.

Elongated almost wholesome serialised version of a timeless book which was animated into a film in the 70’s. Predictable and simplistic dialogue with spoiler plot giveaways and plastic safe character portrayals. A typical BBC PC long winded production with rabbit romance mixed in. Netflix alone could and would of made a better job of it. The animation seemed rushed at times with unconvincing character movement in their surroundings. The original film made me cry buckets but I couldn’t wait for this mini series to finish. And what a powder puff finish it was. Swerve this and watch the film instead.
