Ugh....this pains me to no end. I will start by saying, I freaking love Lucy. Watching the program over the years has always brought me comfort and a sense of "home." This production on Netflix, brought none of that. The scenes felt "choppy" and the acting was hard to follow (as weird as that may sound) There were slight moments where Nicole Kidman said something that sounded like Lucy in her older years (the deeper, kind of raspy voice) but that vocal doesn't match the timeline of when this was all taking place (the earlier years). I tried watching it again as I REALLY wanted to LOVE it and the second round was just as bad as the first. I never made it to the end either time... A swing and a miss for me.
