Brilliant movie. Even though we know the ending it didn’t diminish my sadness. Austin Butler is mesmerizing. However my appreciation of Tom Hanks performance was dampened by his prosthetics.

Not anything I was expecting as I made a decision not to read anything about it prior to seeing it. I loved the 1994 film and was basically expecting a 2019 version with a fresh cast. One I got the timeline I settled in and just let the enjoyment wash over me. So beautifully crafted.
