The show lacks basic character concept, and depth. Why is the mom an alcoholic? Why don’t we know anything about who made the keys and why is there a glowing blue door in a cave. And why are there demons and what do they want. Unanswered questions and Kinsey was better written off as the stewing tortured teenage artist with a dark past. They ruined the show as soon as they wrote her fear out of her body but what ever. And the actress who plays the mom....... she randomly laughs and smiles about things in the wrong times and has absolutely no depth. And it was honestly pointless after the 5th episode to keep watching (but I did) because I started rooting for the bad guy because she has more depth but is still a huge mystery to the show it’s self. They never discuss what the flower key does exactly other than raise jars from the dirt??? Or what happened to sams sister and his dad. I’m just honestly so aggravated by the ending because I was cheering for the enemy because those kids are stupid. They just loose and give away the keys and use them in broad day light knowing someone is after them. MAKES NO SENCE!!!
