they destroyed the opportunity to have a cool reunitement, and completely ruined Luke Skywalkers character, I will never forgive this.

I was 12 years old when this movie came out and it my favorite movie as a kid, it really captured the energy I had of reading comic books and my imagination while playing with action figures and then having them be real in a movie. I couldn't have asked for a better movie, it really felt like a great story that you could only wish of, I wish there was more like it, there is no more imagination and Super Hero movies have never been the same. Things that were supposed to be for kids are made for adults now and everything has lost that childlike personality and appeal. This movie was the perfect example of what I enjoyed about movies as a kid to begin with, it was the best entertainment I could have asked for. I am so grateful I got to experience and enjoy it and see it in theatres, It felt like it was made just for me and my friends of that time and those born around 1985

2/10 The story has some creative ideas but there are so many holes in the logic of it, that I just can't be impressed by the direction the story takes. Certain monlogues I had to skip through as they were painful to watch, and other times concepts were very predictible, there is also large gaps in the story that are left unexplained and the concepts just don't make sense in the way they are presented and it leaves me just unimpressed and the feeling that it's very fake and cheesy, even the ended just left a very bad taste in my mouth that makes no sense, it was an attempt to be clever but it's just bad story and logic. It made me have many questions, and the theme it trys to present is not done realsitically. It's almost like a sci fi where they can go into space without a space mask and can just somehow breath but then they go underwater and have to use helmets and you are like this doesn't make any sense. I guess I am too smart for this movie. I would have enjoyed it more if the lore was presented in a different way, or if they just never took off the blindfolds at all. If anything the film promotes that fat people are emotional wrecks that you should love, and that black men make good father's to white children that are not their own and he just wants to get it on with a white girl and she let him ... It's so dumb
