An uncreative plot and beyond predictable humor. The movie tried everything to stand out and failed in every regard. Had I been watching it alone I wouldn’t have made it past 30 minutes at the most. The forced edginess of the gore and humor was especially exhausting. It felt like it was written by a dozen grade school boys all competing for the most contrived and over the top action scenes possible, then someone came in to collect their stick figure drawings and slap them into a Guardians of the Galaxy frame. How even a diehard fan could give it above a 3/5 is truly beyond me.
