Could have been longer. However, better than most adaptations we got this year (I'm looking at you Winx saga) The theme music is absolutely brilliant!! It summed up the whole series!! Jesper's character stood out the most, he's a natural and so charismatic. Alina and the darkling's interactions were a little awkward at the start but got better towards the end after he goes dark. Surprisingly, Mal's character was more likeable here than in the books and they had better chemistry. Actually made me care about his character unlike in the books where he was just annoying. Alina's character could have been done better, here's hoping for some character growth in the next season! Fingers crossed.
