Going into this drama, I thought it was going to be one of those High School Romances that toward the end skip to years later and end happily. A feel-good series was what I thought. But oh, the emotional rollercoaster it took me on! I don't know if it's because I could relate to Lim Ju Kyung or Han Seo Jun, but this was a drama that made me bawl. Especially episode 13. It focuses on so much more than just society and its standard for beauty. The two types of friends, both have an unrequited love but handle it in two different ways. How people aren't as nice or as rude and stern as they look. How people are still worthy of change and that second chance. I did, however, feel super bad for the second lead, Han Seo Jun because he went through a lot. Never swayed his feelings toward her and always gave her up when he knew. Never badmouthed his friend. Even when he hated him. Gosh, and the comic book store has the memories. As for Ju Kyung's family, the insecurity she faces when the rest of the family doesn't understand what she goes through. The emotion the family goes through when they find out. It was one of the best dramas I've watched in a while. Definitely one of the top.
