Good attempt overall. However, the director failed to exploit the full potential of the main storyline. Venturing into scientific and philosophical theories would have worked better than playing safe with mythology.
It could have been flawless had the story been based on 'fate/destiny' rather than "bhagwan ka vardan." Instead of "maharani sa" giving "vardan" to Paro, the plot should have shown her explaining that if Paro and Rajdat are in true love then they are destined to unite. Their union may be in next life but no one will be able to come between them.
This slight change would have given a philosophical touch to the story rather than a mythological one. In fact, that subtle alteration would have made the story relevant to even to such concepts as 'predestination,' 'parallel universe,' etc.
