Girl on wire is a simple yet an uplifting allegory of a young girl struggling to overcome anxiety that many kids feel as they grow. She walks the tightrope, afraid she will fall, but with the support of those she loves, she confidently walks across the wire without thinking about how far she could fall. Lucy Estela used lots of personification during the story for example she used the wind bites/kisses her cheeks. The images used in the book don’t tell you that his book is about a girl on a wire but help you to find the hidden meaning of this allegory. The wire in this story represents the hardships in life and all the challenges you face and the voice represents someone you know talking to you, motivating you to complete the challenge and once you have you feel really happy.
