I loved the original film as a child. I love it still. I was worried until I heard Emily blunt was Mary Poppins. I knew she would be amazing. I watched the whole thing with a smile on my face and a few tears in my eyes. It perfectly captures the magic of the first film but also took it to new exciting places. I found myself feeling that very same feeling I felt when I watched it as a child. Pure magic. We need more heart warming films these days and this film did just that and more.
