If they had replaced Jessica Lang with Meryl Streep for Lillian you would have had a movie worth watching! Over acting from start to finish from Lang. Ruined the movie.

Terrible plot, bad direction, impossible (for the time) western scenarios loosely knitted together. Writer obviously did no research on the conditions of the time and place or how the people in that era in America related to each other. Some phrases used were 20th century. Somebody said one day.... I think I'll write a movie script and in some miraculous way was able to secure funding for the film. (Use your imagination as to how).

Brutal, amateurishly made and ridiculous all at the same time.

Heartbreaking. Eye opening. Outstanding acting by all and wonderful direction.

Best movie I've seen in a long time. Keeps you guessing.

Self indulgence to th e max! It tries too hard. Scenes at end of part 2 We're comical.
