I liked the original film, but found this one unsatisfying. The producer seems to have felt his job simply to be to create tension, which he did, but it didn't seem as if there had been much effort to think out the logic of the story, and as a result there were, to my mind at least, lots of inconsistencies. Characters' actions often seemed illogical and without explanation, and I found that frustrating. I was actually quite bored by the end.
