Am I the only one who can see these “pranks” are all staged? This is the same as Borat 2. Unlike Borat 1, the people’s reactions to whatever is happening is completely scripted. Who reacts the way these people did to someone ripping off a police car door??!? Like that’s humanly possible. The guy’s reaction “he must feel like a total idiot” is such a scripted line/fake reaction. Or the spraying vomit, opening vaccum car scene, fruit smoothie scene...so many of the scenes are so obviously staged where the “general public”. Are aware of what’s going on. I’ve seen enough prank videos to know when the public is in on it vs legit prank. The movie as a whole is just terrible, but the pranks are more infuriating because they are so obviously fake. I don’t know if all the pranks in Borat 1 were legit, but if they weren’t, it is much less obvious that the public is in on it, watch Borat 1 and than this or Borat 2 and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Finally, Netflix, are we seriously, after 2020 with all the BLM and other racial related issues, allowing black actors to do White Face??? Such a joke. If I could give zero stars, I would. On a 1-10 scale this was Trash.
