I LOVED this movie! I totally "get it too" Genius Actor portraying Genius Artist by Genius Filmmaker. Perfect combination. The movie itself looked like a painting and I enjoyed the "shakey camera" and POV angles made you understand how Van Gough felt and it was a visual feast. I laughed very hard when characters in the movie said how bad the paintings were or how much they hated his paintings because as we well know they become the most famous and loved popular paintings in the modern world and art world. It's sad to see such a great artist struggle and not be appreciated in his own time. Without giving the movie away it starts off funny and whimsical but gets darker and darker until tragedy strikes. I learned a lot about Van Gough that I never knew before and William Dafoe appeared to be born for this role and movie his acting was superb and sublime it was absolute perfection and a movie worth of this great artist. To see the struggles and hardships the motivation was both heartbreaking and endearing at the same time. The insights that I gained about why Van Gough painted and his conditions in life gave me a much greater appreciation for his art that I didn't have before. Go see this movie!!!

Ok WOW! Like really really wow!!! Is how I have to start this movie review. Bollywood has surpassed Hollywood with this movie. 2.0 has officially brought Indian Action and Sci-Fi Filmmaking to the global stage. The visuals, the effects the story all blew my mind the entire time. Each scene each second made me beg for more and it kept delivering more! Without spoilers the movie begins with a mystery and continues to build it up until Chitti shows up and action in The Matrix genre is taken to new levels. I really enjoyed the fact that they tie in animals rights and welfare along with human consumption spiraling out of control. They show us how totally obsessed and dependent we are on our cell phones and the costly dangers of that as a result. Also hands down with out a doubt the most amazing Sci-Fi Music Video Dance Sequence ever captured on film so far is in 2.0. Everything is superbly taken to the ultimate in action filmmaking and super hero movies. 2.0 rivals Marvel or D.C. Movies it's that good. This is a must see movie and I will see it a second time which I rarely ever do in movie theaters. My only one complaint is I wished they explained to us how important birds are to our eco system and planet much like how bees pollinate our food system the only thing they mentioned was keeping insects population from getting out of control but Birds actually also help plant trees and plants around the world too. Besides that go see 2.0 in movie theaters India's first 3D Movie is a blast!!!! Two thumbs up way up!
